The Virginia Film Festival will be screening the upcoming film Being Heumann on October 24 at 10:30am in the Culbreth Theater. Directed by Siân Heder, director of the Oscar-winning CODA (2021), Being Heumann tells the story of disability activist Judy Heumann, with particular focus on the Section 504 sit-in in San Francisco.
